id like to know what other games u play or at least like, or even type/kind(?) of game/s (u can say why but not needed)
id like especially to know about games from UT99 generation or a bit/few years after (dm why i said many times in game no more want here again), but ofc u can tell about any other, even published this year, asbolutely any u play or like Smile

atm i wont tell more than that i like most FPS n RTS (i play more rarely RTS than FPS cos im lazy to think:p at RTS u need think more; but i love some of them, though :d)
(played some MMOs in past but stoped cos i reached(?) to play 15! sametime n was pretty to get crazy O.o haha jk)

hmmm tricky one. I pretty much play UT99 (sometimes UT3) and thats about it.

I do have a game called darkstar one, which is a kind of space sim/trading game thats quite good. And i like the CnC series Very Happy1

lol never liked sim/trading games (too boring for me haha) i like only war/fighting-RTS (yea rts dont usually like TBS) n related to CnC again never liked nowadays/modern-age rts, most i lke/d rather historic/al ones (Rise of Nations, Age Of Empires ... just few ex. there r many more) n after these SF ones; also related to FPS (forgot above) usualy dont like tactical shooters (too hard for me? haha) n like also almost same as rts: first (i guess, well depends on each game in part finaly) horor n SF FPS n 2nd gothic/historic/fantasy(?) ones ... Very Happy1

I play far too many games. And I spend far too much money on games.

At the moment I'm playing:

- Team Fortress 2
- Borderlands
- Left 4 Dead 2
- Supreme Commander 2
- Civilization V
- Elder Scrolls IV: Oblvion
- Worms Reloaded
- Command and Conquer 3

I usually manage to play each of those at least once a week.
I have a whole bunch of other games that I bought, but haven't even played yet, and a lot more that I haven't got installed.

@bob: -sry, dunno if got it, i dont meant sim/trading games r boring but just arent my genre/style, i know some great sim/trading games ...
-related to CnC ... the only i liked it (n even very much) is the only shooter i know from series, Renegade Very Happy1

I've got Burnout Paradise on the 360 and PC. Don't really play it any more though.

I've got 38 games on my Steam account alone. And a load more on disk. That's just for PC as well. So I don't really have time for UT any more.

Hmmm, as for myself:
Games I played a few years ago and liked: Diablo, NFS, Dreamfall, Farenheit, Sims ( Razz

), Heroes of might and magic, Prince of Persia. As for shooters, the classic Duke, Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein ( I had a computer since I was 6-7 years old so I had the chance to play many games Smile

)
Now: Borderlands (btw Ninja, have you tried the latest addon? ), Plants vs Zombies, and UT eyewink

I haven't played with Cappy for months now. We did everything in the main game, so we stopped. But he's getting the GOTY edition apparently, so we should start playing again soon.
I've bought the 4th DLC and played a little bit of it. Got bored quite quickly though, so now I'm waiting for the patch to increase the level cap to 69 before I play again.

I played a lot of single player after playing with Cappy though. Managed to get nearly every red text weapon, and got a couple of pearl ones!

I used to play NFS, but I don't like any of the latest ones. The last NFS I liked was Carbon. But I'm looking forward to Hot Pursuit 2, made by the people who made Burnout.

Can't forget Plants vs Zombies either. It's one of my favourite games. I hope they make a second one jumpgrien

I just finished pre-loading Fallout New Vegas, so I'll be playing that once it's released.

And Left 4 Dead 2 got some new content, so I'm playing that even more as well.

Command&Conquer Renegade - very tactical fps (mega soldiers) ...
BattleField 1942 - unbeatable classic gameplay (field glasses for all) ...
ZDaemon - classic doom online port (checkout the brand new doom64 wad too) ...
Doom3 - especially opencoop (at least after next machine upgrade) ...
UT2004 - still wondering if the UT2003 models work in this though ...
XenoClash - at last a fp martial arts game ...
Special Other Games - calling them isnt allowed here ...

I found a good unrealish alienshooter in our local used games store - Kreed.
Its abit weird especially that I had to download the same patch three times ... .

maybe another char may be possible soon, if it comes to german fiesta servers, a trickster.

servers are german, spanish, dutch, french, uk

I'm trying to avoid MMO's for now. That one does look interesting in a way I can't figure out.

I've only just quit an MMO, because I realised how bad it really was. Waiting patiently for Guild Wars 2 though.
I wanted to try Rift, but i've heard a lot of mixed opinions on it, so I'm not going to risk it.

A game i recently discovered and enjoyed is Alliance of Valiant Arms with the demolition type. It's a kind of counter-strike remake but incredibly better and free. All the original maps are good: Fox Hunting, Black Scent, Hammer Blow... It's also fun because it's a bit skill-based. Sometimes the entire team is decimated but one player against the full other team and everyone is like "this is over" but then the one that is left takes down the entire team one by one, and we're all spectating and going "wow". But i don't like competition-type games... Last time i played it was hours on end of "eat shit and die, nabs".

Another game i like is Diablo 2. It's old but the item system is the best of all games.

I just rediscovered QUAKE II which has tons of singleplayer addons.
Also coop on servers is possible - only less popular than the pvp settings.
But for these purposes absolutely no comparsion to UT and UT2004.
Back then I sorted it out because of the low mouse sensitivity but theres a
simple console command - sensitivity 30 - and high speed is guaranteed.
The monsters are somehow unreal like what makes me kind of jealous.
Check this nice online browser - gamescanner and it runs very well.
It is this much oldskoolish that it hardly ever could be improved.

You all know that I rarely ever play here anymore. That's because I'm off playing other games now. The main one I play has now gone free to play. You might have heard of it - Team Fortress 2.

It's made by the same developers (Valve) who made Half-Life 2, Counterstrike, Left 4 Dead and Day of Defeat.

Now I know what a lot of people think of games that are free to play. The usually think they're poorly made and really bad quality. With Team Fortress, that is not true in the slighest. The game has been out for almost 4 years now, and has had around 200 updates since it was first released, all for free. Valve are insanely generous with their prices and they look after their community more than any other company. A whole load of weapons and items that the community has made, have been put into the game. The game is still being constantly updated with new maps, new weapons, new hats... There are thousands and thousands of maps, because Valve released the Source Editor kit with the game, so the community could make their own maps.

Valve make money from the game with an in-game shop. Now before you run away, seeing as in-game shops are horrid, this one isn't bad. The weapons you can buy are sidegrades. They're not better than the ones you start with. And, on top of that, you can earn the weapons through very easy achievements OR you can just find them randomly whilst playing. Yup, you get given new weapons just for playing the game. So basically, the veterans aren't given the advantage.

Main positive things about TF2:
- Every update is free and installed automatically. No need to search for them
- Insane amount of weapons (Hundreds of them. Literally)
- Even more insane amount of maps
- Comical voice acting
- Easy to play at first. Hard to master
- Has competitive, professional leagues for people of any skill level
- 9 COMPLETELY unique classes
- Plays on fairly old computers
- Still isn't boring after 3 years of playing it
- Currently 379 achievements to unlock, if you're an achievement type of person
- Has thousands of people still playing. Was around 14,000 before the Free-to-Play update. Now anywhere as high as 80,000+ people playing during the course of a day

Negative points:
- Nothing really. Few minor annoyances, but every game has them

Seriously, if you don't try TF2, you're missing out on the best online FPS out there right now. Steer well clear of Call of Duty with it's bland and boring gameplay. TF2 is far better in every way. I have played hundreds of games in my life, and this is definitely in my top 3.

really offers what i searched for a long time!
So it allows to easily replace each teams
player models with customs or others!
You can add a wide range of zombies as terrorists
and g. e. a narutoish team as special forces.
There are quite much models available but i werent
a master collector and hadnt sorted them already!
So better download before its too late!

Nice! But I dont know if L4D also allows replacing the player characters.
Maybe since its also based on HalfLife like CounterStrike. Ive seen some
Naruto Models for CS/HL Source but if they worked in L4D?

Which L4D have you been playing? I've played both of them a lot. If you only have the first, you really should get the second.

I'm sure some of you will have heard of this game, but I've only recently started playing it. I'd known about it for a long time but it'd never interested me before. It's called League of Legends.

There's not a huge number of games like this around at the moment. Valve are making Dota2 which is pretty much the same thing. The good thing about LoL is that it's free!
There IS an in-game cash shop where you can buy new champions/champion skins/etc BUT you can buy the champions with in-game currency that you earn through playing the game.

So far, there are about 82 or 83 champions, with a new one being added every 2 weeks or so. Each champion plays completely differently, so you're bound to find one you like playing.

I find it hard to describe the gameplay. Basically, there are 5 champions on one team against 5 on another. You can play with 4 humans against 5 very clever AI bots OR 5 humans vs 5 humans. Both teams also get minions that spawn to help them out.
The aim of the game is to work your way through 3 "lanes", destroying the enemies turrets on the way until you eventually get to their main structure. When you destroy that, you win. There are new game modes being developed, including a king of the hill type event.

Each champion has a passive skill as well as 4 skills that you unlock as you level up in the match. These are skills you choose to activate. During the course of the matches, you earn gold which you use to purchase upgrades that do all sorts of things, such as:
- Increased magic defense
- Increased attack speed
- Faster movement speed
- Increased ability power
- Heal you over time

For those of you who are competitive, the game has ranked matches that anyone can play in. Or if you're more casual, you don't have to take part in a single ranked match!

I play league of legends as well. I have 2 accounts, one on the West server and one on the Nordic & East serv.
One acc is level 30 and the other is level 6. Razz

And usually i play wiht this champ.

What more to say i like unreal series but i still dont have UT3
But, there is a mod for ut99 that i like alot:
Nali Chronicles= Its basicly a mod that is made after unreal 1 but tells a story that is before unreal, its how one nali went to some temple where he can take down the vortex rikers ship some god power idk and u play as a nali, there are vids on youtube of it and i think that mod is one of the best mods ever made

So, Grand Theft Auto V was announced yesterday. The first trailer is out on the second of next month.

Also, I'm tempted with the new Battlefield. I played a lot of Battlefield 1942 and a bit of 2142, but I was never interested in the others. This new one does look nice, however.

Beast game ever!!!

Skyrim? Best game ever? Hardly. It's a good game, yes, but definitely not the best ever.

I've been playing a bit of Battlefield 3 on my PC recently. Only single player so far, because I haven't had time for mutiplayer. It's quite enjoyable and very, very shiny.
Modern Warfare 3, on the other hand, looks almost the exactly the same as Modern Warfare 2. It should have just been DLC.

Not long until Saints Row The Third, which has already received a review of 95/100 from the Xbox magazine. But, of course, I'll be getting it on PC.

Why do u always have to ruin my moment?!
I'm just trying to say that Skyrim is a good game and if u haven't played it yet then don't talk about it.
And plz stop commenting everything that i say here cuz its really getting annoying.

Ruining moments is what I do best, so here I am commenting on something you say, again. Also, I added more on about other games, so it's not like I posted JUST to disagree with you.
