You know Im the Unreal Collector here.
And I found some stuffs which gonna be
interesting for your coming map projects.
Also remember the weaponholder packages
SevenBullets and XidiaMPack which allow
to add player characters with weapons and skins.
(Better scale down their movement values!)
The SevenB package btw also has the spiders.

Another nice tip:
If you dont like the UT graphics anymore e.g. after playing UT2004
search your videocard options and increase the contrast level by 10%!
Now the game is much better viewing ... .

Heres another nice find!
Since it seems that some people here like
animes I think this pack gonna find friends.
It has several huge blades like from FF and a few guns as well.
They wont load in stuffswapper but can be placed in maps.
Maybe even be given to certain pawns - btw theres also a peoples
package which maybe can act as friendly npcs who dont get shot by bots.
With the themed skins packs from my collection page there were
endless possibilities of creating fantastic mh manga scenarios.
Only the weapons actually dont mix well with the original stuff
so it would be better being combined with another package like
e.g. marathon or U4E which btw also has many anime monsters.
Online would anyways suck because of the default models
but mh is also a nice singleplayer gametype with bots.

I found some pawn making tutorials but for UT2004.
Maybe they also enable making UT99 pawns.
What is btw very interesting concerning vertex reduce
and convert existing UT2004 models and pawns.

Do NOT use XidiaMPack/SevenBullets code in MH. It's designed for SP and it also requires extra keybinds to be set for the reload function which will only work in SP, therefore rendering the Quadshot from the mod useless and broken. The packages just aren't designed for MH, and using them will cause all sorts of trouble. Trust me, you'd be better of using standard tournament bots (You can stop them spawning with a simple bit of code, I didn't write it so I'm not at liberty to distribute it, it was written by an Unreal 1 modder called Zora, ask her if you're interested.

There are. There's 3 different Krall skins that I know of, 2 Beta ones, the 1st beta skins being the Armoured ones, after that came a slightly more "ridged" skin, and then the one we see now (The 2 beta ones were actually miles better than the current one D: ) One of the Unreal Betas actually had an entirely new pawn, a DRAGON, but it was cut from the game unfortunately  Crying or Very sad

As Zacman said, in MH will be much better to use only ScriptedPawns and their subclasses. If you want a good work stop thinking about other craps because are useless and will deliver unexpected bad results. Maybe you can stop posting that GOOD STUFF because I don't think is so good as you imagine as be. MonsterHunt sometimes was confused with Sp which is other kind of game, even it is using monsters, network play is based on a replication, a network code, is not so simple to do such a stuff, more coders tried to put on-line servers for SP, and such a job was not easy at all. Almost all inventory, even decals, and some properties were altered and/or adjusted to avoid errors. We want ScriptedPawns not Pawns, Btw Pawn is abstract, cannot be added in maps, only subclasses can be used, of course if you put them in a MH map and somehow will broke the replication do to blame somebody because you fooled with PAWNS.

With some modification, StationaryPawns can be used. Also, FlockPawns can be used as long as people use them APROPRIATELY (I.E, make the biterfish Docile, Don't make them hostile, they're very small, near impossible to hit online due to lag) Bots can also be used, given you subclass them and add some code that causes them to be DESTROYED, rather than respawning when dead (Basically just a call to Destroy() in their death, respawn or hide function) But they make fairly insane enemies, unlike Monsters which will hunt the player when they see them, these bots will come after you from the second the map starts. Most FlockPawns, with the exception of the Bloblets, are designed for decoration only. The Bloblet needs to be set up right in order to be a functioning enemy. (I can write a quick tutorial on this if anyone wants-The Bloblets are the one Unreal enemy I've never seen in MH. Although, with how hard they are to fight, it may be a blessing  Laughing I may even write a generall MH-monsters reference guide if I have time, covering Monster use and pathing.)

More or less, Horseflies, Biterfish and NaliRabbits should be treated as Decorations. Actually, imagine they're barrels. They are not monsters, IMO.

I just ripped a very great KingCobra pawn from cache and also
tested many oldunreal packages where i found a few pretty great ones.
Like e.g. some Quake1 pawns or the evil little Gizmos and the cartoonish BigBird.

To clear this up before i start  im am  bob aka bobisunreal from my unrealgold  coop site  that i suspect these files were taken from, and have no relation to any bob on this site and that is why i am posting as a differnt alias. i registered for the soul purpose of post this reply.

I am about 90% sure you got all these files from my page  and just repackaged them but without the link  functioning above i cant tell.
but  since you mentioned oldunreal in your post its pretty certin..

kingCobra -  this came from a U1 monsterhunt map. and was likely ported by rush.
   I could care less about the cobra idk who's that acully is im sure it original existed in ut before it existed in u1

Quakepawns , quakepawns were ported and animated  by master_unreal  and the files are a bootleg rip of the beta.
       Master_unreal  doesn't appreciate redistribution of his unfinished quakepawns and he never released them except to 3 or 4 people to test. the pack is not   even complete yet!  im reluctant to post a link but it already floating around online.

Gizmo from sam se  - model was animated by master_unreal , and scripting was done by Mental_hunter.
animations and script as slightly bugged.

bigbird:  assuming  , you are refering to the one that carries a chainsaw was ported by Mentalhunter  and rescripted by him to carry that saw
      it is bugged as it has a sound isse of the chainsaw lasting forever in game.
     i told mental about this and  he   does not  approve your redistribution of his mod  other the on my site  and is pissed.  
     he also lolz at the fact that you dont even know where gizmo came from.
    he specificly  asked that other people  not host his mods , and that these files i mentioned should only be hosted  at my site .

more importantly :

Mental_hunter  never publicly released bigbird ,  quakepawns is a unfinished wip beta,
and the  gizmo animations are not correct and therefore was never released separate from mu_pawns.

The stuff i put onto that site is  there for archive  and saving,
So i really dont care that people have access to them -  its a  public site. and i dont want thos files to dissaper like so many other unreal mods have over the years..

But reposting them in  that fashion with out crediting people  is not cool  +  the original auther(s) may not want the work republished elsewhere

In reality i have no control what you do with the files so it doesn't matter to me.
Alot of that stuff there  is unoffical releases of stuff that is unfinished.

please credit the original authors when you steal/ rip / whatever
to many time have i seen this from you.

Oops - sorry abou that.
But the signature link should work.
The listed monsters are though for new mh map projects oc.
I tested them and found em useful aka working and like their design.
The KingCobra file actually differs already in the name from the one on the bob-page.
Just check - maybe its even a overworked variant.
Btw - you seem to know abit about mh pawns.
So consider yours invited to present some additional finds here.
