Yeah I visited it with DoDo, but it's long to comment on with so much new stuff lol. Kinda sad some things were deleted but I agree that all the new ones are better. I especially like the new colorful lighting, and the open final area which will be very good for teamplay.
The only really bad thing imo is that I hate bumping against the weapon supports. I'd prefer them non-solid.
Again it'd be easier to discuss while walking in the map together. I should be easy to find now. ;)

Alright I played the whole map and I like most of it especially the ancient part but I found also several bugs / improvement points (IMO). It's all going to be constructive if it's about improvements and my own opinion so no need to change anything but it's just how I see it.
Not much of a problem but maybe there would be a way to make it go over in another texture differently.
Like in the spawn room (and other places but mainly on these places) it's not much of an issue but maybe change textures or a way to make them not look like they're all into eachother.
So since it's a beta I understand not everything is finished and polished so that's why I pointed this whole list out since that's the point of a beta, it has to be all tested.
Overall really smooth map, fits dU perfectly in terms of space and I think you won't be subtle on the monsters neither but there's no need to.

Most of the bugs you pointed out are caused by crashes of UED. Since some of these are old bugs which are already solved in other versions :S. Textures are easily changed, HOMS and such are quite nasty things when you don't want to delete anything

Yes, I've had some time to play it through yesterday. Best would be to walk through it sometime.
The new areas look great, and the corridors really are an improvement. Nice job!
I found pretty much the same bugs and HOMs as Hellfire + a few extra (some minor details or personal preferences):
- In the crate with vials and ammo shown above the ammo sticks half into the floor, this happens on more places on the map
- The texture on the floating waterfall is IMHO not a good one, at least it should be speeded up a bit
- The pic above (the way about the water), in that room the waterfall textures are not alligned well, the two triangles are clearly visible
- the bottom at the second last pic above under water isn't aligned
- in the final scene there's an announcment: "Guardian releasing", I think this should be either "Guardian released!" or "Releasing Guardian" (and it might be in the screen like the lift message)
- In the final room the sides of (some of) the ramps are not aligned well (horizontal)
- I still think the red/green light switches should use speciallight rather than a lightcast on the floor before it.
- The lift in the big hole is too slow to jump up to the Redeemer
The best way to kill skaarj is to flak it while it leaps towards you.

New version almost ready, most of the bugs are fixed.
Having a Christmas vacation atm, maybe I can finish a general version just before the end of the year.
Does everyone like the new weapon setup(or to be non-solid like pointed out above) and spawnpoints configuration, or is it too much?

Instead of saying what is new and old, like CM3 and Afterdark, here is a video! It is basically finished, only monsters, and ai to be added. It is also present in the first post. If things work out I can release it this week or next week.
