PostPost subject:No icon Inventory items online
Reply with quote

I was wondering which settings and properties are forced to default of a mesh or inventory item, even though it is changed in the map?

For the CM4 map, I am struggling with a couple of bugs, which I am trying to solve. I want to get rid of the weapon lockers but when I do it is going to crash when rebuilding something new there. The weapons are now in the 'void' ( outside the bsp-geometry) with a big collision radius. I didn't ask this question in the CM4 topic because there might be more mappers interested in this specific subject.

After experimenting alot with lots of settings and tweaking, I've found a way to make the weapon invisible, yet leaving the mesh the same. So the weapons are floating in the air as normal, but invisible.

Changed STY-normal to none. But there is a chance when it is online, the online engine forces it back to STY-normal? Such as other settings?

Which of the properties in display and such I can change as desired and which not?

EDIT: The STY-normal trick does not the trick in each and every map for some strange unknown reason.

Edit#2: It is not STY under style is is Drawtype > DT_Mesh to DT_None. Was looking at the wrong settings.
Terraniux.
