New TeamSpeak3 Server and Server shortcuts

For all which have it not notice it. We have now a TeamSpeak3 server with seperate channels for all servers. Download and install the TeamSpeak3 client, dedust your headset and have fun with others!
No password is needed. The to see who is in Teamspeak atm, you see on the right side at the main page a small status block.

More simple are the new server shortcuts. If you are on a destinationUnreal server, you only have to type !TS at the chatbox and you will be automatically connected to the right channel. Don't forget to install the client first.

You can also now fast travel between the destinationUnreal server via shortcuts. Like !main / !m for Mainserver or !C / Crazy for dU Crazy server. I'm proud to present the new official destination Unreal logo!
This logo is handmade by dU.SevenOfNine only for dU.

It takes weeks to find a very good one which fits for dU and ist not that complicated. I think I stressed SevenOfNine extreme, because I want a change here and a change there.

But finally we have now a own one which will be spread arround on the homepage and the servers soon. The dU skins will have it soon,too.

Ranking & Download Area

Ranking:

You can now vote for all maps which are at the new download area. All votes which you do (simple press on the stars!) will be counted at the same map.

You can vote for your favorite map at:

Maps on Challenge, Challenge Small & Privat Server

All maps (also the new ones) from Main Server are now avaible at:

- destination Challenge
- destination ChallengeSmall

Update:
- destination Privat

From now all maps from Main Server are automatically mirrored to the other servers.
Now you can play all your favorite maps from main as challenge or as quite seasson on Privat Server.

destination Unreal has moved to a better server

Today destination Unreal did something for the future.

We moved to a faster server.

Core2Duo -> Quadcore Q9550
4GB RAM -> 8GB RAM
2x250GB -> 2x500GB

And the best is, all is a bit cheaper
I moved all to the new server and installed the needed programs. Hope all works now like in the past (but better,faster,bigger, nicer :D)

If you see any bugs pls tell them!

New Server for testing dU Challenge Small Edition ;)

New dU Server is now avaible: dU Challenge Small Edition (85.14.203.181:8888)

After some players ask about the 1am (One Against Monsters). We decided to open another destination Unreal Server for only ONE player.
Server setting is the same as the Challenge one. One player can play, up to four players can spectate. This server is also good to relax a bit and play a game alone

Stats for this server will be avaible soon.

destination Unreal Privat Server

The destination Unreal Private Server is now available for all registered dU Homepage members.

If you connect to the server, the server asks you for Name & Password. Please enter the same as you use here at the Homepage. (He will ask you only at the first time).

Why you should play on the Privat server ?
At the Privat server you find allways the new upcoming version of our dUMH mutator which needs testing. You can test it (would be nice to see here come comments) and see what will be soon avaible at the other dU servers.

You will also find new maps there. Maps which are in beta status or maps which are unsure at which server they will soon be (Main/Crazy/none).

Server failures

Tonight and today we got some server problems.
The server ticker from our Hoster says :

"We had some routing problems tonigh. Details will follow as soon as we have evulated all log files. Sorry for the trouble caused."

Hope they have fixed it soon. I will post updates about the status.

Update:
Possible reason is an attack on our infrastructure.We have updated our router firmware and installed further firewall rules.More soon.

Update:
all-clear:ddos blocked and firewall rules + monitoring updated to achieve a faster reaction time in the future

All seams fine again. Have fun again at our destination Unreal Servers!

Today we got our 3000th match which was played in 6 Weeks at the dU servers!

Between 6 weeks we got 1279 different players which spend together 274days 15h 03m 12s at our servers.

We want to thank all players and hope you will have still fun !
Stay tuned and look forward to the new things which will happend soon at dU.

destination Unreal Monster Hunt Statistics (BETA!)

We proudly presents the destination Unreal Monster Hunt Statistics (BETA!).
Afer many hours of work they seams to work now. All UT99 MonsterHunt server are tracked (beside the MA server).
The stats are updated atm every 30min. The stats are beta because it possible that there are many bugs avaible but to find them out I need you all
Some things are not work correctly because I still search a solution
