| Well, the explanation is simple. We witness a classic case of a project that's been abandoned by its creators. It seems Wolf just runs it in zombie mode for years now, as in just keeping it (the game server and the forums) online but with no active maintenance, moderation etc'. If there were updates like maps, mods and etc', then MAYBE we can draw a little more interest to what was once a thriving community. I still play, bot on Barbie's server which is no great alternative either, the owner there is also messed up and has issues moderating the place socially (I suspect barbie seriously lacks social skills to be able to make reasonable decisions re moderating people, like dealing with troublemakers, admin nomination, and listening to input from players etc', I mean the dumbass now disables score there a few times a week because it thinks that competition is bad... well our nature is to compete). Anyway... if only someone took a more active care of this place, then it could stand a chance. if it'll keep going at the pace it does, I am anticipating this community to go offline forever one day soon. And too bad I gotta say, I've met a bunch of cool people here including my sweet Mousy with whom I'm in a serious relationship now. |

You are not aware of the extent of what was/is going on on Barbie's server in regards to this matter, so when you tell Mousy in her other post before locking it that she makes accusations, she was involved in the harassment as well and she has all the right to complain about this topic allegedly not being liked by members in power here and hence being removed for it's content, while her ramblings in the past were just ignored. Now, I was addressing Wolf in my locked post, and I would actually like to hear him chime in about this topic. As a side note Suz, as you know from our interactions in the past, I will be calling shit out instead of letting it stink and ignoring it. | The server is in a Zombie mode at the moment, dead yet still somehow walking (running). I encourage the remaining UT99 MH players to unite, and form a new community where we can still continue playing on a well maintained, updated and moderated community, as the current alternatives to dU aren't much better. If we create a place that's nice enough, the people will come! Heck, I'd create and keep up a server myself, but I have no experience in setting up a UT99 server, and sadly no time to learn everything from scratch at the moment. |

| -Karkass, 2021. Alternative title I wanted to suggest: "Old robots leave small craters" So, yet again, I am having problems with this rusty grandpa. whoever knows me a bit better here, I was and still am honoring myself as his arch enemy for many years now, and I've had many run ins and complaints about him in the past, but lately this just got boring and I am running into him less and generally am ignoring him and do not interact in any way whatsoever. ..until this fateful February Friday morning. While trying to kill the queen in the heart of the floating island on MH-SkyWarsV2, I was waiting for karky and ANTOMANYAK to finish off the queen, I was shooting at the hallway trying to blindly hit the queen with random weapons, not at players whatsoever, and just waiting for them to kill the queen. At one point karky went up the corridor, and as the queen fired he escaped back, but not noticed by me, he fell down the hole and into the lava below! It then said Karkass left a small crater. Kakrass was looking good till he killed himself! I chuckled, but didn't say anything.... But then the nightmare began. I figure the aging robot got pissed at his clumsyness (you know, actuators must already be worn out, sensors not sensing as they used to, processor isn't able to function to full spec any longer, nuclear energy cells reaching their life limits), he then came back to the area and began shooting me repeatedly as I was still busy with my random firing down the corridor. Again, to be clear it was done in a manner that did not hit or obstruct other players, whenever a player was in the way, I moved as to not hit them. What followed is described in the screenshots below, at the end of which the old robot made his escape as he usually does, by falling through the piping of the internets and vanishing during map switch. So, why am I writing this? I am filing this as an official complaint with the Bureau of Du Investigations and the commitee of Administrators, and am proposing a 30 year to life Ban sentance for the old robot. I am severely emotionally impacted by his reactions to my firey but mostly peaceful firintg of weapons into empty space, and will not tolerate such behaviour any further. I look forward for a honorable representative of the Comitee of Administrators to reach out in a timely manner and to receive an update on this highly troubling situation. Yours sincerely, Crow. | So, I have probably mentioned it a few times, but seems complaints and reminders are falling on deaf ears... While the server is still running regularly and reliably (and I am thankful for that), some features that have been broken for awhile, seem to just remain broken and unaddressed, and I wish this was taken care of at some point: Long ago we talked about chat logs no longer working on the website, I guess this issue has just been forgotten? Secondary, and more recent, the player flags... The problem began months ago and the feature is still broken, they are mostly not shown. I'd love to have these problems addressed for a better, fuller game experience (like I've been used to over the years), and I think I am not the only one. Anyway if this is some sort of unusually challenging problem, then please tell us why and etc', at least so we understand and are aware. Happy New Year to all by the way! (as happy as it can be at least with all the inhuman covid measures that we experience). |

| So I've known this for awhile, an area full of deemers and further down skaarj snipers, but only very recently discovered that if you walk on the roof of the train to the front of the locomotive (if you manage to not get killed by the autocannons somehow!), you get to the windshield, and once you jump on it you are then LAUNCHED forward to the area where said deemers are, and you can presumably pick them and bomb the skaarj ahead, or the train behind, or anything you really want, but if you keep walking forward or anywhere around there, you then die in a gruesome manner. |

| Well, as you can see Dex, this is not the first complaint about the work of this specific admin. Admins are not supposed to involve personal issues as part of their work. Things went sour with seabass too Suz? lol. Can we get unbiased, and perhaps new admins on the forums and the server? Or maybe it's about time to shut it down already as it's been left to run without moderation or any updates etc', for a very long while now, this has become a sort of a zombie. |

| Bump for what the title says... We need those! The place is really becoming lame for the long time players... really dull... If there's a feeling that we aren't sure WHAT to add, then how about we have a quick look at the few other MH servers that are still alive? They have a variety of maps, many of which can be added to dU, and breathe some much needed life into our beloved dU MH! I really hope there would be some active change to things in the near future... |

| Thanks for the great advice Suz, let's take something with a history that spans years and with input from dozens of people, a bunch of which probably no longer around anymore, have it die and then get this amazing advice, "oh how about you start again from 0?" Anyway, Will you look at that... Looks like this has been a technical issue with the forum? I went to hjerte's link (even though I knew that the thread could be accessed indirectly), and made a test post there, and lo and behold.... Its.... alive...! Well at least this is how it seems for now. I hope it remains accessible through the main topic. I'm still curious as to what happened that made it go away |
